38th Annual Conference
Upcoming Events

The World Safety Day is an annual global event initiated  by the International Labour Organization to promote health and safety at work, as one of the core commitments of the organization from inception in 1919, about 100 years ago. Officially, the World Safety Day also known as World Day for Safety and Health at Work starts on April 28 every year and continues throughout the year with varieties of programmes, awareness campaigns, lectures, workshops, and so on to seek improvements in health and safety of workplace.

The theme to celebrate this year is “Safety and Health and the Future of Work”, focusing on the trends and progresses from the last 100 years of ILO, and looking towards the future of work through efforts to inspire further changes in technology, demographics and sustainable development.

Safety is for everyone, including you and I. We therefore encourage you to take part in this year’s celebration in any way you can to help secure a better future of work. You can check around for a seminar, workshop or other campaigns. You can also share the event poster on social media as part of awareness towards a safer workplace.
