Advanced Fire Fighting

The Advanced Fire Safety course is designed to equip participants with specialised skills in fire fighting, and it forms part of loss prevention and loss control programmes in organizations.

Fire incident is a common occurrence at the workplace, causing avoidable injuries, loss of lives and properties. While many organizations have put measures in place to prevent fire outbreaks, it is important to have an effective emergency plan in place that will aid effective response in critical times.

This course will expose participants to the standard risk assessment process based on ISO 31000 to help them understand practical approaches to fire prevention . It will further expose them to best available technologies in fire fighting. In addition, the participants will learn how to administer first aid and CPR to support fire victims.
