Updates on DL-VC Training Method, Assessment, ISPON Certification, Training Guides, User Account, etc.

Modification to Distance Learning with Virtual Classroom (DL-VC)

Participants on our DL-VC training method will no longer be required to stay online throughout their training period. Following recommendations from our esteemed partners and trainees, we have made video explanations of our training guides which you can use offline after saving on your phone or desktop. This change was due to the challenges posed by poor network connectivity in many parts of Nigeria and the need to reduce data consumption during training. To be trained on our DL-VC, you will have access to the training guides both in pdf format and video explanations, which you can save on your devices. While you study the guides and the video explanations, you can also schedule a live discussion with us in the Virtual Classroom. This will be treated on a case by case issue and only participants who need more clarifications will be required to join a live discussion. Please contact us to learn more.

Duration of Certification

Effective from January 1, 2021, we have put processes in place so that you can get certified within seven days after completing your training assessment and examination. This will enable you complete your processes in good tie and ensure you do not miss an opportunity. The certification period is applicable to both ISPON certified courses and Marana Courses.

Continuous Assessment

From January 1, 2021, all training participants will now receive their scores for Continuous Assessment (CA). Presently, only the examination scores are released to participants through the automated electronic system. Our decision to also release the CA scores is in line with our commitment to a transparent system and to further confirm the integrity of our assessment process.

User Account

A website audit has been scheduled to run from December 20th-23rd, 2020. This audit will lead to changes in user roles and privileges for all user accounts on our website. After the audit, your account may be moved to another user category based on the audit recommendations. This is purely for security reasons. Your username and password, as well as account information will not be affected. Please also note that the option to login with Google and Facebook accounts has been removed due to recommendations from our technical team.

Review of Training Guides

Our training guides are currently being reviewed to ensure they remain relevant in the global industry. This is also part of our commitment to continual improvement. After the review, you may no longer have access to some resources because they will be replaced with an updated version. If you have difficulty gaining access to any of the materials which you have access to before the audit, please let us know so that you can be granted access again. At Marana Global, we give lifetime access to our training participants so that they can continue to use our resources for their personal professional development.

Unauthorized Sharing or Use of Our Resources

We want to further encourage you to avoid unauthorized use or sharing of our training guides and other resources provided in the course of your training. You have unrestricted access to many of the materials so that you can continue to use for your personal development after your training with us. Please read our terms and conditions for more information.
